To escape his memories, Jon creates an alternate persona within his own mind: Scarsfield. But Scarsfield doesn't want to let Jon forget. Instead, he forces him to confront the horrors he has buried, dragging him through disturbing flashbacks, psychedelic trips, and increasingly blurred lines between reality and nightmare. Until Jon finally realizes the truth: **The horrors didn't stay in Vietnam.
